Alice Elizabeth Adair, 92, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at her home in Duncanville, Texas. She was born on August 27, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri. Alice was a long time resident of Needville, Texas.

She is survived by her sister Rosemary Lightfoot, 3 sons Donald (Julie) Adair, JR, Terry (Jan) Adair, Steve Adair, a dear friend Regina Adair, ten grandchildren - Tracy Vecchio, Justin Adair, Stacy Vigue-Adair, Terry Adair, Kristen Wilson, Misty Adair, Steven Adair, Ashley Vecheruk, Andrew Adair, and Melody Adair, and ten great-grandchildren - Anthony, Nathaniel, Alison Vecchio, Darvyn Vigue-Adair, Eviana, Ella and Olivia Adair, Nicholas and Emily Adair, and Grace Wilson.

Alice was employed for 25 years at Shell Oil. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and lived a long, meaningful life. Alice was an extraordinary woman who always had cheer, wit and humor.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Garmany Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461, with the family receiving friends from 5pm to 7pm. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, December 17, 2015, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 9214 Main St, Needville, TX 77461.
