Graveside services for Alfonso Joseph Munguia, 87, of Richmond, Texas are scheduled for 1PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at Morton Cemetery, 401 N. 2nd Street, Richmond, Texas 77469 with Rev. Wayne Watkins presiding. Alfonso died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Richmond, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Guadalupe Arellanes Munguia; one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara "Bobbie" Munguia; daughters, Jennifer McClean, Jeanette Herbage, Jacqueline Lugar and husband Gary; son, Chris Munguia; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Rosie Gateley; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
